abstracts for oral and poster presentations. Authors must
submit abstracts online at www.Chronic-Care2010.org. Please
note that only electronic submissions will be accepted.

- Originality. The abstract submitted
must be of an original content and has not been previously
published in whole or part by any journal or publication.
- Number for submission. Authors
can submit more than one paper.
- Language. English is the official
language of the conference and will be adopted in
all the abstract submissions, publications and presentations.
Abstracts should be thoroughly checked for spelling
and grammar before submission.
- Acknowledgement of Receipt. An
abstract number will be assigned after submission.
Please quote this number in all correspondences regarding
the abstract to the Conference Secretariat. Should
you have not received such confirmation and any enquiry,
please contact the Conference Secretariat at abstract@Chronic-Care2010.org
.
- Review and Selection. Abstracts
will be reviewed by an international panel of experts
and are handled anonymously. Selection will be based
upon: relevance to theme, originality and interest,
clinical and research content, and state of completeness.
- Notifications of Acceptance will
be sent to presenting authors in September 2009. Details
of presentation will be included in the notification.
- Registration. All presenting authors
of the abstracts are required to register and pay
for the registration fee by 15 October 2009. Failure
to do so will result in exclusion from the final programme.
- Publication. All accepted abstracts
would be published in the Final Programme Book of
the conference in printed or/and electronic form only
upon receipt of registration fees in full.
- The Scientific Committee reserves the right to
make the final decision and edit the language.
- Word Limit. Abstracts cannot exceed
300 words. Font face must be Times New Roman. Font
Size of the Main Text must be 12-points. Single line
spacing.
- Title. Abstract title must be
in Title Case, e.g. Chronic Care. The title should
be brief and clearly indicate the content of the abstract.
Avoid using abbreviations in the title.
- Author Information. Author and
co-author names, institutions, cities and countries
are to be typed in appropriate boxes. Please include
family name and initials of author(s). Do NOT include
degrees or professional titles (Dr, PhD, Prof, MD,
etc.).
- Content. Each abstract must contain
sufficient details for evaluation. Make the abstract
as informative as possible. Clearly indicate the aims
and conclusions supported by data. Results stated
in the abstracts must be complete (though concise)
and final. Organize the body of the abstract as follows:
for research-related papers and posters: (a) background,
(b) methods, (c) results, (d) conclusions; and for
discussion papers: (a) context, (b) objectives, (c)
key messages, (d) conclusion. Do NOT identify author(s)
or institution(s) in text. No changes of the abstract
will be accepted after submission.
